Culla speichert lokal auf deinem iPhone u. a. deine Einstellungen (z.

Wende dich dafür an info@pb-vertrieb.de.

Last updated: October 4, 2026

In short: Culla does not collect any personal data. The app has no server, no user account, no ads and no tracking. Your photos never leave your iPhone.

2. Access to your photo library

To work, Culla asks for access to your photos. You choose in iOS whether to grant full, limited or no access, and can change this at any time under Settings › Privacy & Security › Photos.

All features, such as grouping similar photos, rating sharpness and exposure, or finding large files, run entirely on your device. No photos, videos, metadata or analysis results are sent to me or to any third party.

If you use iCloud Photos, iOS itself downloads missing originals or previews from your iCloud when needed. This happens between your device and Apple; I have no access to it.

When you delete photos in Culla, the app uses the iOS deletion feature. You confirm every deletion, and deleted items remain in "Recently Deleted" for 30 days.

3. Data stored only on your device

Culla stores, locally on your iPhone, things like your settings (e.g. the chosen theme), which photos you've already reviewed, the contents of Culla's trash, your stats, and the counter for free daily swipes. This data never leaves your device and is removed when you delete the app.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

Purchases (Culla Pro) are handled entirely by Apple's App Store. Apple processes your payment and account data under its own responsibility. I receive no payment data and no information that directly identifies you. The app only uses Apple's StoreKit to check whether a valid purchase exists. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your iPhone settings under Apple Account › Subscriptions.

Details: Apple Privacy Policy.

5. Rating prompt

Culla may ask you to rate it on the App Store using the built-in iOS feature. Apple controls whether and how often this appears. I don't learn who rated the app.

6. Crash reports

Culla contains no analytics or crash-reporting tools of its own. If you've agreed in iOS to share analytics with app developers, Apple provides me with anonymized crash reports. You'll find this under Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.

7. Contact by email

If you email me (e.g. for support), I process your email address and the content of your message to respond (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). I delete messages once they're resolved, unless statutory retention periods apply.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Since Culla itself collects no data about you, in practice these rights mainly concern emails you've sent me. Contact info@pb-vertrieb.de.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Thuringian State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (TLfDI), Häßlerstraße 8, 99096 Erfurt, Germany.

9. Children

Culla is not specifically directed at children and does not collect data from children.

10. Changes

If the app changes in a way that affects how it handles data, I'll update this policy. The version published here applies. In case of doubt, the German version prevails.
